2016 Audi A6

The award-winning Audi A6 combines elegant design, innovative technologies, ample space and impressive power. The lightweight body of the model adds to the agility of the luxury sedan.

For the 2016 model year, new front end and rear designs give the A6 a more dynamic stance and greater presence on the road. The front fascia now includes a new design for the LED headlights, Audi's Singleframe grille, and bumpers. The new rear design includes LED taillights and integrated trapezoidal tailpipes on all A6 variants.

The new 2.0L four-cylinder TFSI engine with 252 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque as the entry-level A6 engine delivers greater performance and efficiency. The new powerplant is paired with new seven-speed S tronic double-clutch automated manual transmission for the front-wheel drive variant. Meanwhile, the quattro all-wheel drive version is paired with an eight-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission.

Audi's supercharged 3.0T engine has also been enhanced. It now produces 333 horsepower (up by 23 hp from the previous version), and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. The eight-speed Tiptronic is employed here as well.

For 2016, the new suite of Audi connect services includes INRIX online traffic info, Apple Siri Eyes Free integration, and Web radio streaming. The next generation of Audi MMI provides AT&T's 4G LTE data connection and in-car Wi-Fi for passenger devices supported through NVIDIA Tegra processing power.

New optional driver assistance features for the 2016 model year include Audi side assist+, active lane assist, secondary collision assist, adaptive cruise control, Audi parking system plus, an updated version of Audi's Night Vision Assistant, and Audi's Multimedia Interface touch interface.
